1 Who can request account deletion
This page applies to anyone with a TepatiMasa account, including:
- Employer accounts (shop owners / managers)
- Employee accounts (staff)
- HR sub-accounts
TepatiMasa is published by Quantum Web Studio (Malaysia).
2 Delete specific data without removing your account
You can remove individual pieces of data from inside the app, without deleting your whole account:
- Social posts you authored — open the post, tap the trash icon. Posts also auto-expire after 48 hours.
- Your comments — tap the × icon next to your comment.
- Chat messages you sent — long-press the message and tap Delete. Messages also auto-expire after 30 days.
- Voice recordings — same as chat messages (long-press → Delete). The audio file is removed from storage immediately.
- Profile photo — Profile page → tap photo → choose a new one or remove.
- Notification preferences — Settings → Notifications → toggle individual categories off.
Data that cannot be removed individually (require full account deletion or contact support):
- Attendance records and clock-in location history (required for HR/payroll audit)
- Salary slips and PCB/EPF/SOCSO records (retained 7 years under Income Tax Act 1967)
- Signed employment agreements / contracts
For removal of any of the above without full account deletion, email [email protected] with a clear description of what to delete and your reason.
3 Option A — Delete your full account from inside the app
The fastest way is to use the in-app deletion flow:
- Open the TepatiMasa app and log in.
- Go to Settings (Tetapan) from the main menu.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account (Padam Akaun).
- Enter your password to confirm your identity.
- Optionally enter a reason and tap Confirm.
Your request is reviewed within 14 days. We may contact you via your registered email to confirm before purging the data.
4 Option B — Email request
If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address registered on the account:
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Include in the message:
- The email address used to register
- Your full name as it appears on the account
- The shop / company name (if employer)
We will respond within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
5 What gets deleted
Once a deletion request is approved, the following are permanently deleted:
- Profile data (name, email, phone, IC/passport number, address, photo)
- Authentication credentials (password hash, session tokens, device tokens)
- Attendance records and clock-in location history
- Payroll details, salary slips, deduction history (PCB, EPF, SOCSO)
- Agreements / contracts you signed in the app
- Social feed posts, comments, likes
- Chat messages (text and voice recordings)
- Uploaded images and audio files in storage
- Push notification tokens (FCM / APNs)
- Notification preferences and language settings
6 What we keep (and why)
Some records are retained for legitimate legal or operational reasons:
- Payment / invoice records — kept for 7 years as required by Malaysian tax and accounting law (Income Tax Act 1967 §82, Companies Act 2016).
- Anonymised audit logs — login attempts and security events, with personal identifiers stripped, kept for 1 year for fraud prevention.
- Backup snapshots — encrypted database backups overwrite within 30 days; we do not actively access backup data.
7 Subscription and billing
If your account has an active paid subscription:
- Cancel the subscription before requesting deletion to avoid further charges.
- No refunds are issued for the unused portion of the current billing cycle (see Terms of Service).
- Past invoices remain in our accounting records as required by law.

1 Siapa boleh minta pemadaman
Halaman ini terpakai untuk sesiapa yang mempunyai akaun TepatiMasa, termasuk:
- Akaun majikan (pemilik / pengurus kedai)
- Akaun pekerja (staff)
- Sub-akaun HR
TepatiMasa diterbitkan oleh Quantum Web Studio (Malaysia).
2 Padam data spesifik tanpa padam akaun
Anda boleh padam data tertentu dari dalam app, tanpa perlu padam keseluruhan akaun:
- Post social yang anda tulis — buka post, tekan ikon tong sampah. Post juga auto-tamat selepas 48 jam.
- Komen anda — tekan ikon × di sebelah komen anda.
- Mesej chat yang anda hantar — long-press mesej dan tekan Padam. Mesej juga auto-tamat selepas 30 hari.
- Rakaman suara — sama macam mesej chat (long-press → Padam). Fail audio terus dipadam dari storage.
- Foto profil — Halaman Profil → tekan foto → pilih baru atau buang.
- Pilihan notifikasi — Tetapan → Notifikasi → matikan kategori individu.
Data yang tidak boleh dipadam satu-persatu (perlu padam akaun penuh atau hubungi support):
- Rekod kehadiran dan sejarah lokasi clock-in (perlu untuk audit HR/payroll)
- Slip gaji dan rekod PCB/KWSP/PERKESO (disimpan 7 tahun di bawah Akta Cukai Pendapatan 1967)
- Perjanjian/kontrak pekerjaan yang ditandatangani
Untuk pembuangan mana-mana di atas tanpa padam akaun penuh, emel ke [email protected] dengan keterangan jelas apa yang nak dipadam dan sebab.
3 Pilihan A — Padam akaun penuh dari dalam app
Cara paling cepat ialah guna fungsi pemadaman dalam app:
- Buka app TepatiMasa dan log masuk.
- Pergi ke Tetapan dari menu utama.
- Skrol ke bawah dan tekan Padam Akaun.
- Masukkan kata laluan untuk pengesahan.
- Beri sebab (pilihan) dan tekan Sahkan.
Permintaan anda akan disemak dalam tempoh 14 hari. Kami mungkin hubungi anda melalui emel berdaftar untuk pengesahan sebelum data dipadam.
4 Pilihan B — Hantar emel
Kalau tak boleh akses app, hantar emel dari alamat yang berdaftar pada akaun:
Tajuk: Permohonan Padam Akaun
Sertakan dalam emel:
- Alamat emel yang digunakan untuk daftar
- Nama penuh seperti dalam akaun
- Nama kedai / syarikat (jika majikan)
Kami akan balas dalam tempoh 5 hari bekerja dan selesaikan pemadaman dalam 30 hari.
5 Apa yang dipadam
Selepas permintaan diluluskan, perkara berikut dipadam secara kekal:
- Data profil (nama, emel, no telefon, IC/pasport, alamat, foto)
- Kelayakan pengesahan (hash kata laluan, token sesi, token peranti)
- Rekod kehadiran dan sejarah lokasi clock-in
- Butiran gaji, slip gaji, sejarah potongan (PCB, KWSP, PERKESO)
- Perjanjian / kontrak yang ditandatangani dalam app
- Post social feed, komen, like
- Mesej chat (teks dan rakaman suara)
- Fail gambar dan audio dalam storage
- Token notifikasi (FCM / APNs)
- Pilihan notifikasi dan tetapan bahasa
6 Apa yang disimpan (dan kenapa)
Sesetengah rekod disimpan atas sebab undang-undang atau operasi:
- Rekod pembayaran / invois — disimpan 7 tahun sebagaimana diperlukan oleh undang-undang cukai (Akta Cukai Pendapatan 1967 §82, Akta Syarikat 2016).
- Log audit ditanpa-namakan — percubaan log masuk dan event keselamatan, dengan pengenal peribadi dibuang, disimpan 1 tahun untuk pencegahan penipuan.
- Snapshot backup — backup pangkalan data tersulit ditulis ganti dalam 30 hari; kami tidak akses data backup secara aktif.
7 Langganan dan bil
Jika akaun anda ada langganan berbayar aktif:
- Batalkan langganan sebelum minta pemadaman supaya tidak dicaj lagi.
- Tiada bayaran balik untuk bahagian yang tidak digunakan dalam kitaran semasa (rujuk Terma Perkhidmatan).
- Invois lepas akan kekal dalam rekod perakaunan kami sebagaimana dikehendaki undang-undang.
